Tips to Prevent Eye Damage that cause by monitor/computer

In front of the monitor more than 3 hours a day can lead to computer vision syndrome (CVS). This syndrome is caused by eye and vision complaints work using the computer too long. As a result, the brain works harder to interpret the image captured by the eye. Brain fatigue will cause processing light signals from the eyes is interrupted, then perceived as a blurred eye complaints.

Normal human eye can see comfortably when the focus is at a minimum distance of 20 feet (about 6 meters). While in front of the computer, the eye is forced to focus on a less distance. Symptoms include dry eyes, headaches and if continued would result in blurred or unfocused vision. To fight out these syndrome should not be done by removing the computer from your life because after all humans need technology to support its productivity. Only need to change how to use it wisely.

If your job requires you for hours in front of the monitor is recommended to apply as follows: every 20 minutes staring at a monitor, spare a time to turn the view from the screen for 20 seconds to another point within 20 feet (about 6 meters).

Also, do not forget to blink because the average person just flashes 6 times / min while being engrossed in front of the computer. So the eyeball is dry and does sting, the lids should always blink of approximately 16 times / minute.

If possible, position the appropriate monitor to no higher than eye, at least parallel. If too high then the eyelids tend to work harder to blink and moisten the eyeball, so that the edges so forget to blink.
